Quaint little hotel with a fantastic location to the beaches and port side town. Rooms are basic with efficiency kitchen, strong hot shower, WiFi and smart TV.
Puerto Morelos, beach town charm. Casa Valero is a boutique beach hotel experience. Get away from Cancun crowds. Nice upstairs pool. Great sunrises from the palapa covered third floor deck-lounge. Hammocks, books, chairs, etc in the common areas. Nice private rooms. This isnt the hilton folks, this is small, charming, beach town pleasure. We made extra time in our family vacation to return to Casa Valero for a few days before flying home. Oh, and its only 20km from the airport so thats a plus.
This is a small hotel across the street from the beachfront places in Central Puerto Morelos The room was small but the bed was comfortable. The shower was a bit lacking in water pressure. Nonetheless the price was right and the ambience was great. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the second floor terrace which has a small clean plunge pool and great hammocks and hammock chairs as well as tables and chairs. Ms Debra is a fantastic host. One block from the central plaza, 2 blocks from the Chedrali grocery store and an amazing number of good restaurants within a very short walking distance. Puerto Morelos is a quiet relaxing place and we would definitely stay at Casa Velero again when we return in the future.
Booked 2 nights, stayed for 4. Great location for the beach, Centro, snorkeling. Just one street back from the beach with views out to the sea. Room was modern, recently furbished and a nice area with hammocks to hang out. I arrived late and entry was a little difficult, lucky I had a Mexican mobile phone. Highly recommend though!
A lovely spot on the beach. Casa Valero was very relaxed and quiet inside. They have areas where you can eat and drink outside with views of the sea and hammocks on two floors where you can read and cool off with shade and a sea breeze. The service was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we always felt safe inside. One day, a friend of the host made everyone a big paella to eat. There is hot coffee to drink and good facilities. The best thing is probably the location, literally a stone throw from the beach. 2 minutes walk tops. We recommend doing the snorkelling tour in the coral reef while you’re there, they have promoters by the pier and further along into the square. Excellent value and experience.
We loved our stay. It was home away from home. Lucy and her daughter Jen were very wonderful people. They kept our room clean and if needed anything they were helpful to get whatever we needed. We will be staying here again as long as it is available.
Fully equipped rooms with regular amenities. Ideally situated one block from the beach and all the attractions. We were lucky to catch the check-in staff just before they left. No front desk to speak of...
